It was one for the books…and radio!

Hi HEAL Supporter,

Utah’s Changing Climate

Our panel discussed successful, and less-than-successful, efforts to get environmental legislation passed, as well as environmental justice and what’s on the horizon for environmental policy in Utah. But don’t just take our word for it — the panel was recorded live for an episode of RadioWest! Listen here! »

Another Spring Breakfast has come and gone! It was one for the books…and for the radio.

Nearly 300 people came to learn about and support our work. Guests also enjoyed an incredible panel, hosted by RadioWest’s Doug Fabrizio, which featured Representative Patrice Arent, Representative Rebecca Edwards, and Representative Angela Romero. A huge thanks to everyone who joined us this year.

An important part of our Spring Breakfast is fundraising. During the breakfast, our Executive Director Scott Williams and our Board Co-Chair Mary Ellen Navas laid it on the line — HEAL needs your help. As a donor-supported organization, our ability to pursue positive measures and take action against environmental threats depends directly on your donations.

Right now, we’re just over $5,000 away from our May fundraising goal of $50,000. It feels like a big number, but every donation makes a difference! Help us reach our goal by giving today.

Thank you again to everyone who came to our Spring Breakfast and to everyone who donated during the event. And thank you to the KUER team, our panelists, volunteers, sponsors, challenge grant donors, and to everyone who couldn’t make but continue to support us in other ways.

With gratitude,

The HEAL Utah Team

P.S. We’d like to say one more thank you to our 2018 Spring Breakfast Sponsors. Do you know a business that would be interested in supporting us as a 2018 Fall Party Sponsor? Please contact Hannah Whitney at for details.
