HEAL values science, education, collaboration, and transparency. We know the importance of educating our youth and the general public on environmental issues throughout Utah. Below, you will find science-based lesson plans divided into topic themes and grouped by broad and “kids” options (k-5 curriculum.)
Air quality
With increasing development and a growing population, it’s no surprise that clean air has become the dominant environmental issue in Utah’s northern urban valleys. In our “What’s Beneath the Cloud” lesson plan, individuals can learn about air pollution and how to lower it.
