Utahns are being credited with stopping the Divine Strake test and that credit comes from the man who oversees the bomb test.

Monday, in Washington, Governor Jon Huntsman met with Sam Bodman, the Secretary of Energy.

According to the Governor, Bodman says the public outcry over Divine Strake was the reason the test was canceled last week.

Utahns spoke out by the thousands voicing their objection to the 700 ton bomb test.

Governor Jon Huntsman said, "It had everything to do with the voices that spoke out very passionately and emotionally from our state. That absolutely carried the day and that shouldn't be forgotten by anybody."

And when asked if he thinks Divine Strake will ever come back, the Governor says he is comfortable that it's over once and for all.
