Overview

Citizen contact is the single best tool we have to combat the money spent by the organizations we watchdog. A super-majority of Utahns are opposed to Utah being home to nuclear and hazardous waste. We need to mobilize Utahans to express their opinions and concerns.

Responsibilities

• Plan and hold “postcarding” events. We will use postcards to gather public comments as well as to educate the public.

• Go for a walk: knock door to door in targeted areas to measure public opinion on an issue or to drop information about HEAL Utah's work.
• Gather signatures for petitions.
• Help to organize events, including:
• Publicity
• Recruitment
• Logistics

These events include: voter education trainings, lobby training, in-home meetings, and fundraisers.
