Funding and Transparancy
Our Principles
HEAL Utah is able to operate thanks to our generous community of individual, foundation, and business supporters. Our funds come from donations at our major spring and fall fundraising events, sustainers (those who give on a recurring monthly basis), business sponsorships, foundation grants, and major gifts. HEAL does not receive funding from any organization whose products, services, or values conflict with our mission.

As a small staff of seven, we can cultivate close trust with each other and we strive to develop this same level of trust between us and our supporters. That’s why we are committed to transparency about our financials — including where they come from and where they go (from ensuring we have a place to work every day to conducting technical and legal research to putting on community events). We are proud of our gold status on GuideStar and encourage you to learn more below.
As an environmental health nonprofit, HEAL is committed to looking at all aspects of our organization to integrate sustainability, equity, and community into how we work. Learn more here
