Meet Evan, our newest Board member

Please help us in welcoming our newest board member, Evangeline (Evan) Burbidge!

We are thrilled to welcome Evan to the HEAL Board and back to Utah! Originally from the state, Evan has spent the last 19 years in New York City, Ann Arbor, New Haven, and, most recently, the Bay Area, where she spent the last 10 years. She is a partner at a litigation boutique and works on a wide array of legal matters.  She has been named to Benchmark Litigation’s 40 & Under Hot List, which honors legal partners 40 or younger who picked by their peers as up and coming in their litigation careers.  Evan does all this while also advocating in the legal community on issues like increasing female leaders in the legal world.  While in the Bay Area, she served on the Board of the Community Energy Services Corporation, which worked to help low-income families make their homes more energy efficient.  Her passion for the community connected her with HEAL Utah, where she will continue to advocate and make a difference.

Evan is a theater-goer, coffee lover (her favorite cup of joe comes from Philz in San Fran or Campos locally), and an expert at recognizing obscure celebrities (which we will be testing her on at her first HEAL Board meeting). Now living back in Utah, she is excited to bring her children onto the slopes regularly and continue to teach them how to ski!
