We are excited to introduce our summer Grassroots & Outreach Intern, Zahra Saifee!
Zahra is currently a student at the University of Utah where she’s pursuing a Honors Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Studies and Communications. At school, she is an undergraduate researcher and has already been a part of a published work in the Journal of Material Science. Between being an Air Quality Scholar and being on the Dean’s List, Zahra has volunteered at the Utah Museum of Natural History and the Food Recovery Network. She has also interned at the wonderful local nonprofit, TreeUtah.
Zahra has been doing ceramics for 12 years and now teaches it in her spare time. She has also run three marathons and has been skydiving. Despite her adventurous lifestyle, she has never broken a bone (knock on wood).
