EMAIL CAPITOL REPORT 2025

An Overview of Our Themed Lobbying Days

In Utah, bills are written into law during the Legislative Session; this year from January 20th to March 6th. Throughout this time, HEAL community lobbyists advocate on policy by providing feedback to lawmakers and voicing support or concerns for specific bills.

Your voice is necessary to pass bills during the legislative session that improve our air quality, fight toxic exposures, and address climate change. Join our team up on the hill every Tuesday and Thursday for free lobbying training. Learn more about lobbying and how to sign up here.

With four air quality seasons that cover winter inversions, spring dust storms, summer ozone, and fall wildfires, Utah’s poor air quality is set to worsen. It is vital Utahns speak with lawmakers about the impact of air quality on their health, and to lobby for bills that improve Great Salt Lake water levels, reduce vehicle emissions, and assist vulnerable communities. Learn more on our event page and sign up here!
