Rarely do voters hold the key to important climate change or health policy in their own hands. This is your chance. We encourage Salt Lake City voters to support the parks and public lands bond on your ballot, for your health and ours, by voting yes.
The lake’s advocates included sailors and skiers, students and small business owners. Some traced their Utah roots back to the Mormon pioneers, while others were recent transplants from California and the Midwest. Some represented environmental groups like FRIENDS of the Great Salt Lake, the Audubon Society and HEAL Utah.
The symposium is organized by the U of U Environmental Humanities Program in partnership with the Natural History Museum of Utah, the Great Salt Lake Institute at Westminster College, the Tanner Humanities Center, the U of U College of Humanities, the U of U Office of Sustainability.

The “Free Fare for Clean Air” initiative is in partnership with the Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ), the Utah Clean Air Partnership (UCAIR), and the Healthy Environment Alliance of Utah (HEALUtah) Utah.
The program is sponsored by a coalition of state and private agencies, including the Utah Clean Air Partnership, HEAL Utah, the Utah Division of Air Quality and the Utah Transit Authority.
The Free Fare for Clean Air program is made possible by a coordinated partnership between the UTA, the DEQ, the Utah State Legislature, Utah Clean Air Partnership, and the Healthy Environment Alliance of Utah. Funding for the program was made possible by House Bill 353 which was sponsored by Representative Joel Briscoe in 2019.

The UTA free fare days are offered through a partnership with the Utah Legislature, the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, the Utah Clean Air Partnership, and the Healthy Environment Alliance of Utah.
