Zero Fare For Clean Air
Together we can improve Utahs air quality
Welcome to the collaborative initiative, “Zero Fares for Clean Air,” proudly presented by UTA in partnership with the Utah State Legislature, the Utah Division of Air Quality (DAQ), Utah Clean Air Partnership (UCAIR), and the Healthy Environment Alliance of Utah (HEAL Utah). Together, we are revolutionizing the way we commute, for the benefit of our environment and the health of our communities.
How to Participate:
Mark your calendar for the upcoming Zero Fare Days, where you can ride UTA buses, TRAX, FrontRunner, S-Line, Paratransit, Park City-Salt Lake City Connect, and UTA On Demand completely FREE. It’s a chance to experience the convenience of public transit, reduce congestion, and make a positive impact on air quality.

Air pollution is a significant challenge that affects the well-being of our community. By choosing public transit during Zero Fare Days, you contribute to cleaner air and reduced emissions along the Wasatch Front. These zero-free days are a step towards a sustainable future, promoting a healthier environment for all.
Your participation matters beyond the ride. The data gathered from Zero Fare Days over the past two years will play a crucial role in shaping the future of public transit in Utah. We aim to present this data to the Utah State Legislature to advocate for year-round zero-free programs or increased funding for enhanced public transportation infrastructure. Your involvement fuels this movement and propels us towards a greener, more sustainable Utah.
