After years of shutdowns and navigating a global pandemic, we finally got to bring back our annual Fall Party!
Utah is home to what is known as “the mighty 5” national parks.” These include Bryce, Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef National Parks. Utahns across the state are extremely proud of their national parks, but with the great privilege of being home to these parks comes the great responsibility of keeping these national parks clean for everyone to continue to enjoy.
What started as a group of concerned citizens coming together in Tooele to protect their community has grown to a collective of over 20,000 supporters from all parts of Utah. We would not be able to be where we are today if it weren’t for everyone who built this organization, set its course, kept us accountable and on track, and shared their resources to help bring our collective vision of a cleaner, healthier world ever closer.
With mixed emotions, we announce that Myron Willson, one of HEAL’s longtime board members, will retire from the board. While we are sad to see him go, we are so thankful for his years of dedicated service!

he Community Renewable Energy Act was enacted by state legislation in 2019 (House Bill 411). The act allows eligible local governments to procure net-100% renewable electricity by 2030 on behalf of their residents and businesses.
